John Ronald Reuel Tolkien was born on January 3rd, 1892. When Tolkien was four years old,
his family moved to England. His father died right in that time, too. Eventually when Tolkien was 12, his mother would die
of diabetes. The young Tolkien and his brother Hilary became wards of a priest at Birmingham Oratory.
Tolkien married a woman named Edith Bratt. Father Morgan did not want him to have an early marriage
considering that it would ruin Tolkien's career.
Tolkien aced in subjects like english and languages. Since he was so good at language he easily
created his own languages for the Lord of the Rings.
Tolkien wrote The Hobbit and it was published 1937. Readers liked it so much they demanded a
sequel. So the Lord of the Rings developed.
